Google Street View and Homeland Security

I know a lot of people are reporting on the new "Street View" from Google Maps. Some like it, some hate the privacy implications, me I am pretty impartial.

The one big issue I do have with some of the images is that photography is not allowed on NYC bridges and tunnels!

I looked quickly on some of the bigger bridges to try and grab a clear shot of one of the "No Photography" signs, but this is as best I could grab. That photo is from the Triborough Bridge and the sign on the top right is a a camera with a slash through it.

Read this post from someone who was caught photographing a bridge.

Now terrorists don't have to take pictures because they have the whole bridge thanks to Google.
